1. Introduction

Welcome to Trust Labs. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website trustlabs.pro (the "Website") and the identity verification services provided by Trust Labs ("we," "us," or "our"). Our services are currently offered as part of a research project conducted by professors at Brigham Young University.

By creating an account or using our Website and Services, you ("you" or "user") agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services.

2. Description of Services

Trust Labs provides an online identity verification service designed to certify that online reviews on external, third-party websites are created by legitimate, unique human beings. Our Service uses a face liveness check and a face duplicate check to verify user accounts. We provide a verification status that our partner companies can query to confirm the authenticity of their users.

Please note that as a research project, our Services are subject to change. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services, or any part thereof, at any time with or without notice to you.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use our Services. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant to us that you are at least 16 years old. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. User Obligations

As a user of Trust Labs, you agree to the following:

• Accurate Information: You will provide a valid and accurate email address and any other information required for account creation.
• Lawful Use: You will use our Services in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.
• Prohibited Activities: You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
  • Attempting to create multiple accounts for a single individual.
  • Using the service for any fraudulent, malicious, or illegal purpose.
  • Attempting to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security of, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Service.
  • Submitting false, misleading, or inaccurate information during the verification process.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or otherwise attempting to discover the source code of the Website or Services.

5. Account Management

• Account Creation: You can create an account by providing your email address to receive a sign-in link or by using a third-party authentication provider such as Google.
• Account Security: You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on your account and for keeping your access method (e.g., your email account) secure. You must notify us immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
• Suspension and Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, our partners, or us.

All materials on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and the overall "look and feel," are the property of Trust Labs or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. 7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Our Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

• No Warranties: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that the results of the verification will be accurate or reliable.
• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Trust Labs, its affiliates, or its researchers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Services. Our liability for any direct damages shall be limited to the amount of fifty U.S. dollars ($50).

8. Termination

You may terminate your account and your agreement to these Terms at any time by contacting us at trustlabspro@gmail.com and requesting account deletion.

We may, in our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Services for any reason, including, without limitation, a breach of these Terms.

9. Dispute Resolution

• Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
• Arbitration: You agree that any dispute or claim arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration, rather than in court. The arbitration will be conducted by a single neutral arbitrator in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Our Website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Trust Labs. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
